The ever-beautiful Miss Grand International 2013 Janelee Chaparro of Puerto Rico (Photo credit: Bruce Casanova for OPMB Worldwide)
The minute Miss Grand International 2013 Janelee Chaparro stepped out of the car that brought her to GT-Toyota Asian Cultural Center, all eyes were transfixed on the ethereal beauty of this Puerto Rican who won the international pageant’s inaugural search last year.
And you really need to hand it over to this lady for being the most gracious and accommodating to everyone who wanted a photo op with her. Not once did she lose her poise, save for a few seconds when someone accidentally hit the crown on her head which moved the gem-encrusted head gear slightly out of place. She quickly regained her bearings alright and was back to smiling for the endless clicks of cameras and requests for a souvenir shot beside her pageant highness.
I was actually seated behind Janelee for almost four hours and could see her patience through some of the usual delays in contest proceedings, not to mention the cold temperature inside the venue that gave her the chills due to the exposed back of the grecian-inspired gown (courtesy of Myriad Grande Mode) she wore. Good thing John dela Vega was quick in offering her a shawl that kept her warm during the unexpected lulls.
Thank you for honoring us with your presence, Janelee Chaparro. Hopefully, your brief stay in Manila was enough to give you a good idea of our hospitality. :-D
