Will Alexa Rae Kirby do the Fil-Americans proud?

After being crowned Miss Philippines Quest East Coast USA 2014, Alexa Rae Kirby is more focused now on the greater responsibility of representing the Filipino-Americans in the US East Coast and hopefully striking gold in their first attempt to field a candidate in Miss World Philippines. While that may not necessarily be a tall order, the field of competitors for the national title is getting tougher and tougher with the constant mention of other ladies who are hungry for victory.

But in my opinion, Alexa should remain unfazed. In order to enjoy the whole experience, she needs to keep her calm and composure every step of the way. After all, this is a contest where the winners will only be known in roughly a month from now. She should take all pre-pageant commitments with a happy disposition and be her positive self all the time. The ball is round, so to speak.

And if she can score a fastbreak when it matters most, her gameplan will not have been put to waste.
