In just a couple of days from now, the pride of Kagandahang Flores for 2013 – Bb. Pilipinas-International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago – will be leaving for Tokyo, Japan to fulfill her mission with a target of bringing back the country’s 5th Miss International crown.
We all know by now that the roster of candidates for this year’s edition is a tough one. But just like a sporting event, the ball is round and it’s always anybody’s game. Miss International, in particular, has been one unpredictable in terms of choosing the winner. Sure, they go for gorgeous faces most of the time. However, there were years when the final choices surprised everyone, like 1990′s Silvia de Esteban or 1989′s Iris Klein who floored the top favorites.
