Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014 Kris Tiffany Janson was trying her best to hold back the tears during her send-off yesterday afternoon. But when it was time to give her thank-you speech towards the end, she started to choke a bit, then got teary-eyed and finally caved in to an emotional self. She admitted to the completely different level of sentiments that played inside, especially when one is already on the hot seat with all eyes gazing in her direction.

There are those who say that Kris is probably the only one among the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Queens with the least predictable chances in her overseas mission because of the relative “new-ness” of the title in the national pageant’s roster. But I will beg to differ in this regard. A victory for her in Germany will definitely translate to an increase in worldwide popularity for Miss Intercontinental. And this should augur well for the 43 year-old competition. After more than four decades of existence, it’s about time that they take their rightful spot in the beauty pedestal.

Go for the crown, Kris! We believe you can do it! :-D
