Ann Sidney and Lesley Langley are the 14th and 15th Miss World titleholders, respectively. Separately, they moved on to different career directions after their reigns were over. The former took on TV roles, a few spy thriller films, a touring cabaret act and eventual turns in London’s West End. The latter, while being signed up for a small part in the James Bond 007 flick “Goldfinger”, decided to live a more normal life by settling down with jazz organist Alan Haven and bearing one child named Chloe. They filed for divorce later.
Ann and Lesley make up the second pair of back-to-backs in Miss World (sandwiched by Sweden from 1951-1952 and India from 1999-2000).
It’s been a while since the last. Will a fourth set of twin wins be forthcoming? ;-)
