What's a Miss World without the inspiring presence of our Queen Megan?
Yesterday, a Miss World Press Conference – led by Queen Megan Young – was held to formalize the start of the 2014 edition in London. While the competition has already been going on for days prior, it allowed members from the media to take a closer look at this year’s candidates and perhaps, make their list of initial favorites.
Our Miss Philippines Valerie Weigmann wore a fashionable gray number courtesy of Designer Vania Romoff. And as usual, she stood out in the eyes of many. While there are few reports uploaded about the activity, it helps to have a contact there who intermittently tries his best to ‘sneak in’ and get a feel of everything.
Let’s keep supporting our Valerie. We already know that Sports and Talent would not be her best areas, but I trust that she will zoom up in the other important challenges. :-)
P. S. Miss France Flora Coquerel arrived late in London and missed a couple of important events and auditions. In effect, she has no points for Sports and Talent anymore, while not having the chance to do a DOTW presentation. :-(
