The online voting for Miss Intercontinental 2014 that would have sent one candidate straight to the semifinals has been suspended due to technical glitches that continue to hound the accurate reporting of votes casted by fans and followers around the world. As a result, the organizers have decided to just stick to the original plan of announcing a Top 15 so as to avoid any controversy regarding its validity.
In her Facebook update (see above screenshot), Miss Philippines Kris Tiffany Janson is sad that it was now removed despite the thousands of votes she has already received. But then again, it is best to do away with the same if the results will be tainted with a lot of doubts.
So there. I have also removed the side widget for the online voting of Miss Intercontinental 2014. ;-)
