Dziękuję! Salamat sa ‘yo! Thank you, Mutya Johanna Datul!

Mutya Johanna Datul can’t wait to start a normal life after her reign as Miss Supranational 2013. Truth be told, she already got a sampler of what awaits here in the Philippines the minute she finally departs from Poland this coming weekend. And that sampler must have something to do with the fact that our Queen is very much in love nowadays, or so I was told. But that’s as far as I will reveal about the reason behind her different glow.

The more important part of this post is to show our heartfelt thanks to this beautiful lass from Isabela who zoomed to the top of pageant charts by becoming the first Asian and Filipina to win the Miss Supranational crown in Belarus last year. The honor helped catapult the Philippines to its best year ever.

Mutya has remained the sweet, gentle and unaffected beauty. She may have gotten international validation as a beauty queen, but has remained down-to-earth and accessible. She has not lost her relative innocence and pure charm at all. And because of this, everybody loves everything about her.

Mutya will always hold the record of winning Miss Supranational first for her country and the whole Asian region. And nobody can take that away from her. She is already part of the pageant’s young history.

Whatever the future holds for her life, love and career, we can only wish the best of all possible outcomes.
