Are you guys ready for next week’s Preliminaries of the 63rd Miss Universe Pageant at the FIU Arena in Doral Miami? It’s the make-or-break event for all the candidates, as well as the chance to either sustain a good performance or make up for a lackluster one-on-one during the closed-door interviews scheduled days prior to January 21.

And at this juncture, it’s an oh-so-real battle zone among the beauties. Not only will the Preliminaries filter out the non-placing contestants who will do no more than smile and clap in the background, it will also increase the momentum for those who will register very well among the judges as well as set themselves up with the separate set of individuals (which includes our very own Manny Pacquiao) who will select the successor of Gabriela Isler on the 25th.

I can’t wait to see how our MJ will present herself. ;-)
