The second of our Binibini Face-Off Series offers a match between Ina Guerrero and Patricia Ejercitado
Dusky is the word of the day. And Binibini 27 Ina Dominica Guerrero’s face-off with Binibini 30 Patricia Lae Ejercitado is a match made in “kayumanggi” heaven.
In person, these two Binibinis are the shining examples of the brown-skinned Filipina, world-class at that. And even if they come from the same camp (KF), Bb. Pilipinas 2015 is still an individual competition for all the Official Candidates.
So if we put Ina and Pat side-by-side, who will be your instant first pick?
Truth be told, they have always elicited favorable impressions during their respective stints in other contests. And in Pat’s case, there was all-around positive clamor in the Bb. Pilipinas editions she took part in. Some quarters are saying that being part of a smaller camp (R-L Angels) back then was what kept her from nailing a crown. But if that were the case in her first two tries, then how would the victory of Mutya Datul – who was practically an independent last 2013 – be considered?
Ina, on the other hand, has never really gotten the good breaks to shine – be it Miss Philippines Earth or Miss World Philippines. There were always stronger (or more hyped) candidates everytime she joined. Will Bb. Pilipinas change all that?
