Misters of Pilipinas 2015: The Guy-Next-Door from Tagbilaran, Bohol

Alberto Rodolfu “AR” de la Serna is a 22 year-old graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Financial Management from Holy Name University in Tagbilaran. He enjoys swimming, jogging and working out. In between, he would spend a bit of time playing “COC” (Clash of Clans) just to while idle moments away. He stands almost an inch above 6 feet tall and is very happy to have been chosen as an Official Candidate of Misters of Pilipinas 2015 where he will represent the Province of Bohol.

I asked AR what made him decide to join Misters of Pilipinas 2015. This is what he had to say.

“Many reasons in joining po. To represent Bohol po is very overwhelming on my part. To be able to open doors for modelling. I was watching videos on the internet about Misters that I didn’t think that I would even be a part of. And to promote din our tourism here in Bohol po.

Joining Misters really caught the attention of many po. Ang dami ko pong friend requests and personal messages di ko naman po to inexpect po. Just like any contest po, I would strive hard to win. I would be more disciplined towards my body. More visits to the gym less visits to clubs(joke po). I would have an active lifestyle just as the other candidates. And this would help me become more fluent in Tagalog since I have difficulty in speaking it.”

Based on feedbacks during the Final Casting, AR has been getting a lot of positive reactions from the crowd and a good number of people whose opinions matter. Let’s see how he can translate these early praises into a more consistent drive towards his goal of winning a title in Misters of Pilipinas 2015.
