Mister Model International 2015: The Way I See It

The way I see it, and if we are really to judge Mister Model International 2015 on the merits of a candidate’s performance on the runway, style, right physique and fashion appeal, then the favors could go to one among Rabih el Zein of Lebanon, Arcel Yambing of the Philippines and Melvin Roman of Puerto Rico. These three individuals have the right ingredients working for them, in the strictest sense of the word ‘model’. On the other hand, the pluses will alter my preferred performers if I the focus will be muscles and not the indefinable X factor or skillful grace on the catwalk. In this scenario, our representative might be eased out in favor of someone like Cristian Yanez Ojeda of Spain or even Eduardo Ferreira Moccelin of Brazil.

It all boils down to what the judges will favor – the usual or the breakaway mold that will make the male competition more popular in different countries instead of the predominance of the Latino profile it has become more associated with the past couple of years.

Diversity in the Top 5 could also be the key in widening the reach of Mister Model International to potential future country-participants that have not fielded entries to date.

In the end, I stick to how I envision a winner in this competition will be. My ideal quintet in the magic circle would be Lebanon, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and India.

The rankings? Just as I named the five countries in order, I reckon. ;-)
