For your “Re-consideration”: Kimberle Mae Penchon

Kimberle Mae Penchon was already an Official Candidate of Bb. Pilipinas 2015 but backed out due to her commitments as Miss Beauche International 2014.

The memory still lingers fresh in my mind. After all, it was only last Bb. Pilipinas 2015 when Kimberle Mae Penchon applied, passed all the screenings and was handed an envelope congratulating her as one of the Official Candidates. But no sooner than she can enjoy at least twelve hours of being named Binibini 9, the small bomb was dropped. She decided to back out. She chose a hard-to-turn-down offer from Beauche International (where she was still reigning titleholder at the time) over the chance to compete for one of the BPCI national titles.

But now that Kimberle has already relinquished her Beauche International crown to Steffy Aberasturi, will she regain the steel nerves to go through the nerve-wracking process all over again and take the risk (it is a marked risk in her case)? Do you, dear readers, think that it is a calculated move if ever? Or will it spell possible disappointment instead?

If Kimberle asks my opinion, I’d say “go for it!” She was already convincing enough last year to make it to the roster. And my hunch is that she has already improved much by now.

I would really love to see this lovely comer from Agoo, La Union give it another try. :-)

Can Kimberle Mae Penchon be re-considered for Bb. Pilipinas 2016?
