I know that Bb. Pilipinas is no talent competition. But it sure wouldn’t hurt that an aspiring applicant has the real talent to sing rhythm & blues with the voice quality that can set her apart from other pop singers lording it over the airwaves. First, watch the video below with Vallerie Go “Ricci” Jereza doing her cover of Beyonce’s “Smash Into You”. After all, it was one of her public singing performances (apart from good looks) that led to her being scouted and invited to train for the pageant.

Now that we’re done with that, let us look at Ricci Jereza who told your blogger that she is indeed serious in her plans of joining Bb. Pilipinas 2016. She is still deep in training with Kagandahang Flores (KF) before finally waiting to exhale and joining the camp’s other entries for the much-awaited submission of application forms and screenings.
Outside of singing, Ricci (who stands safely between 5’7″) also does professional modelling and has even appeared in a cameo role for the Fil-Aussie co-production of the movie “Beast” which was exhibited during the Toronto International Film Festival.
In her own words now:
Well, I am a professional singer, recently entered the Professional Models Assoc. of the Phils…I do cameo roles on both local and international independent films and I am an events host as well…My waistline is 23″-24″ thanks to Goldsgym.ph
But more than all of the descriptions stated above, do you think Ricci has Bb. Pilipinas 2016 within striking distance as an Official Candidate? The way I see it, she may have it in her to score a spot. True, she is not familiar with everyone, but her previous trainings on the catwalk and photographic modelling will surely come in handy during the screening.
Remember the name, Vallerie Go Jereza. :-)
