According to Wikipedia, “In geometry, an isosceles triangle is a triangle that has two sides of equal length. Sometimes it is specified as having two and only two sides of equal length, and sometimes as having at least two sides of equal length…”
With Steve Harvey caught in the middle of the Miss Universe controversy he himself caused due to human error, the pageant world was somehow caught with two (2) winners – Ariadna Gutierrez of Colombia who was mistakenly announced and wore the DIC crown for just under five minutes and Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach of the Philippines – the rightful one who is now reigning as Miss Universe 2015. It’s like the popular host created an isosceles triangle of sorts which divided individuals (their respective fans, followers, countrymen and all) right smack in the middle – the pro-Pia on one side and the pro-Ariadna on the other – with him as the base who needed closure on live television to clear up everything and finally move on.
And just to set things in their proper places with due clarification, the isosceles should be converted to a RIGHT triangle instead. And hopefully, everyone will live happily ever after. I know that Queen P has gracefully advanced to her reign. I hope Ariadna is sincerely leaving the past behind and welcoming new opportunities coming her way. And Steve Harvey? He still has a good career to lean back on.
