Last night at the Rigodon Ballroom of Manila Peninsula, an 18 year-old winsome lass from Navotas was crowned Miss Aviation Philippines 2016 and defeated 13 other contenders for the title. Kristine Malicsi, a student of International Travel & Tourism at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, wowed the judges with her good looks and charming appeal to lead all comers at the end of the competition. Her 1st Runner-Up is Reichelieu Emory Santos, with Trizia Abaya completing the Top 3 as 2nd Runner-Up.
Kristine, whom I have met last December through her designer-mentor Jontie Martinez, is really a sweet and good-natured young lady who can certainly add that youthful quality to the branding of the pageant. She can definitely “inspire the youth to pursue a career in aviation and empower women in the industry“.
