Will Aniger, Crescent, Angela, Roshiela and Janel remain independent for long?
This year is also a harvest time of sorts for all the solo sign-ups for Bb. Pilipinas 2016. These are the ladies who braved the nationals practically on their own and succeeded in making it as Official Candidates. While they may have received some help from friends in the industry by way of designers and make-up artists, they stormed the screenings with nerves of steel amidst the tight camaraderie among ladies belonging to different camps.
Aniger Wiji Cruz, Crescent Anne Samaco, Angela Reeder Valdez, Roshiela Tobias and Janel Olafson represent the independents who made it to the roster. The question now is this. How long will their statuses stay as such? I have already heard that one of them is sending feelers to one of the two bigger camps, while another one is already being wooed to be part of another.
Let’s see how their individual stories will unfold in the days to come. I really wouldn’t mind seeing them gain more confidence brought about by the established expertise of either Aces & Queens or KF. :-)
Update: Looks like the question has been answered for two of the five Binibinis above. Crescent Anne Samaco and Roshiela Tobias are now part of Aces & Queens!
