Today’s supposed numbering of Bb. Pilipinas 2016 Official Candidates at Gateway Mall did not happen as anticipated by most. Instead, a number of disqualifications took place and the atmosphere – I was told – was pretty tense. No, make it very tense.
Height was the main issue and some heads rolled. I will not disclose any names so far because that will only preempt the announcement of BPCI. But all sorts of numbers were floated in mid-air. The digits started with 2, then stepped up to 3, then 5. Some even claimed 7. And a few hollered 8. I will sit in the middle and go for either 4 or 5. These numbers are really keeping me on the edge of my seat.
Now you might ask why I don’t want to disclose any information inside my head yet? My source/s are saying that there will be another callback early next week. Monday or Tuesday perhaps?
Suffice it to say that there were at least a few who were already sent home ahead of the rest. More cuts to come? Let us wait for the next chapter soon!

Seven (7) girls were recalled due to height concerns. No names for now please. Only two passed the re-measurement, by the skin of their teeth almost. Five (5) were sent home.
Six (6) girls received callbacks. They belong to different camps. But only five (5) of them will be chosen as replacements.
But that’s just the height problem. We can never tell if endorsement concerns will still be straightened out.
The final 40 should be known by Monday during the numbering.
