This blog post should have been posted just a couple of days after the Bb. Pilipinas 2016 Press Presentation last March 29. But with the long queue in the drafts of my unfinished articles still waiting to be uploaded from my laptop and iPad, it was only now that I was finally able to finish this one for Nicole Cordoves.
I lovingly asked Binibini 11 what was running inside her head when they were finally presented to the media. (Take note, that she stood right smack in front of the pack with the opening number choreography.) And this was her reply:
“Grabe Tito Norms, I bathed in the moment na lang talaga. Super kilig just walking and turning there especially with Queen P looking at you. Haha”
This is one of the qualities I admire most about Nicole. She is down-to-earth and unpretentious. She may have the best replies and comments in English when engaged in serious (read: intelligent) conversations, but she can turn on her mass appeal just as quickly. Apart from that, her sincere display of level-headedness always comes out without really trying.
