It is and will never be easy measuring up to Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, let alone a reigning Miss Universe winner. After all, she arrived at where she is right now the hard way – three long years of hardwork, dedication and commitment. The next Miss Universe Philippines is going to have a supremely demanding year ahead.
As I have stated in my final predictions last Friday, there is – in my opinion – a four-way battle for the biggest crown in national pageantry. And whoever will get the right breaks should get that much-coveted sash placed neatly around her body. Getting very close to the finish line starts today as we shall finally witness the culmination of all diligent efforts to be #1.
