Congresswoman Yedda Marie Mendoza Kittilstvedt-Romualdez

I was initially teetering on whether to make this a Throwback Thursday post of sorts to wax nostalgic about Bb. Pilipinas International 1996 Yedda Marie Mendoza Kittilstvedt. But with the recently-concluded national elections last Monday (May 9), I thought it best to focus on the latest achievement of the former Bb. Pilipinas. She is now a Congresswoman-elect of Leyte, and will henceforth be known as Rep. Yedda Marie Mendoza Kittilstvedt-Romualdez. Very nice!

It warms the heart to see a former titleholder evolve herself into a more progressive and important career in public service. Yedda is definitely more than good looks and bright mind. She is now carrying the weight of her province in the House of Representatives.
