Just recently, she made an announcement on Facebook that this will be her one last beauty pageant and has decided to hang up the platform heels for good. She is retiring, in short.
Read her post:
“To those who are messaging me to join other beauty pageants, I appreciate your trust and kindness but I am sorry to inform you that I wouldn’t be joining any other pageant anymore, I feel like I am too old already for this kind of industry, I have proven myself enough since 2008 and being Miss Universe is now a wishful thinking as politics in National pageants arise, I don’t want to waste time on something that is not long term, let us give the younger generations a chance to prove what they’ve got also. Thank you for all your support and I am retiring this year, my last competition will be this july as I am moving on to the next chapter of my life, private and quiet. Thanks for sending me your best wishes.”
I wish Casey the best of luck in all her future endeavors. Of course, winning Miss Bikini Philippines could extend her pageant career just so that she can serve the commitment. But at the end of the day, she really wants to restore the treasured privacy in her personal life.
