If you thought Arielle Garciano was the only candidate of Filipina descent who won in the recently-concluded Miss World New Zealand 2014, then be amused that her 1st Runner-Up and now Miss Intercontinental New Zealand is also one.
Rohaibie Rennie will also represent the Kiwis abroad and she will be joining our very own Kris Tiffany Janson who will be in Germany for Miss Intercontinental 2014. It seems like there is a renewed spark of interest in Filipinas to take part in global beauty pageants.
Let’s see who will shine more. The homegrown queen or the foreign-bred counterpart? These are indeed exciting times for Pinays in the world of pageantry. :-D
