Is the “I AM POGAY” winner a Mr. World Philippines material?

There is no denying the fact that, even in the search for the World’s Most Desirable Man such as Mr. World, there are gay representatives from some countries who are able to participate short of sounding off others about their true sexual orientation. Call them peppermint. Call them whatever you will. If he looks as good as John Raspado, then he should already be a shoo-in. And this leads me to asking your thoughts on an openly gay man joining Mr. World Philippines 2014 and possibly winning the competition and heading to England for the international finals. Will it be too controversial for everyone’s taste? Will Julia Morley frown at the thought of someone who’s out and proud becoming a delegate in her male pageant? Will sending someone like John set a precedent? Or should we line him up for Mr. Gay World altogether? ;-)
