The Mr. World 2014 candidates during the Football Challenge won by Mr. Peru (front, lying down and wearing white shirt with a big maroon stripe in front).
During the recently-concluded Football Challenge of Mr. World 2014, Mr. Peru Diego Conroy proved that he is the best when it comes to kicking the ball all the way to the goal. Be that as it may, everyone else had a good time trying their skills at the sport. And while only the bets of Nigeria and Moldova were clearly the other better players, the boys (including our own John Spainhour) gave it their best efforts in the shoot-out.
All throughout the different activities, the candidates have been tremendously enjoying themselves. Sure, there are some who would rather skip events for personal reasons (made more obvious by the group photo above which is missing more than ten guys), but it’s always their call to do so. They simply don’t know what they’re missing.
By the way, rehearsals for the finals day have started.
And our John must be realizing how the days have passed by so quickly. A little over two weeks ago, he was just standing alongside Sam Ajdani at the Glorietta5 Atrium waiting for the announcement of who is going to Torquay. And then he got whisked off less than 24 hours after.
In just under four (4) days from now, everything will end with a bang at the Riviera International Conference Center. But before that important date, let’s keep on supporting our bet! :-D
