A homecoming presscon was prepared by Bb. Pilipinas for Miss Universe Philippines 2013 and Miss Universe 2013 3rd Runner-Up Ariella Arida at Gateway late yesterday afternoon. Members of the press and online media were around to witness her return, as well as fellow Bb. Pilipinas sisters Bea Rose Santiago, Cindy Miranda, Mutya Datul and Pia Wurtzbach. It was a very happy occasion, despite what’s happening in other parts of the country.
From hereon, Ariella will lead the other ladies in helping out for the Yolanda victims by initially raising funds and donations. She mentioned that it might be a blessing in disguise that she did not get the top prize. Otherwise, she would not be able to return home immediately and lend her support to fellow Filipinos devastated by the killer supertyphoon.
