A lady named “Parul” was crowned Miss Tourism International 2014 in Shenzhen, China. She’s not the Parul we have in mind, though.
Parul Bindal of India was victorious in Shenzhen for the Tourism-themed beauty contest that is directly in competition with the other – more popular – identically-named version in Kuala Lumpur. She is a top fashion model back in her country, and has also briefly appeared in a Bollywood movie.
Except her win, there is nothing much to report about the other results, particularly the fate of Miss Philippines Christine Paula Bernasor. I’ll still be waiting for more updates and will just edit this post to reflect other details. ;-)
