Binibini 5 Christine Ramos Balaguer now holds the honor of being the first deaf Official Candidate of Bb. Pilipinas. And she is overjoyed with being chosen as one of the competitors in this year’s edition. From etching a small name for herself as a Dragonboat rower to giving a respectable performance during Miss World Philippines 2014 where she made the Top 13, she is now upping the ante even more by vying for one of the crowns in the country’s premier pageant.
Sure, there is more effort spent in her Aces & Queens training. But being the quick learner that she is, Christine continues to prove that no amount of physical disability can ever prevent a fighter of a person from fulfilling her dreams.
