Will Parul Shah start and end her reign without representing us overseas?

Will BPCI find a beauty competition for Laura Lehmann and Hannah Ruth Sison to join abroad?

The spotlight may not go their direction as often as they would want the attention lingering in their midst. Take for example Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2014 Parul Shah. With the supposed affiliation of Miss Tourism Queen International with BPCI, she should have already prepared and left for China to take part in the former. But somehow, that prospect doesn’t seem to be shaping up in the immediate horizon (unless fresh developments in the last 24 hours will say otherwise). While there are countless other “Tourism” titles available, the organizers are careful in forging ties with just any foreign group with no impressive track record. It’s enough that MTQI is no longer giving out a prestigious vibe. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for Parul, though.

And as runners-up, both Laura Lehmann and Hannah Ruth Sison could only hope for the best and pray that something more productive lands on their laps by way of a beauty contest fielding abroad. It could be a double-edged sword should something of the sort takes place, however. It will definitely prevent them from re-joining next year if a formal title is bestowed on their behalf. Just ask Elaine Kay Moll who was declared Miss Supranational Philippines in the middle of serving her 1st Runner-Up status back in 2012.

So how will the rest of their respective Binibini experiences unfold in the coming months ahead? Well, your guesses could just be as good as mine. ;-)
