It’s not like the Philippines is wanting for world-class Filipinos to represent the country in Mr. World. But when we are served with such outstanding mixed-race hunks like John Spainhour and Sam Ajdani, there’s no other choice but to become our most submissive selves. Truth be told, their formal selections as Mr. World Philippines 2014 and 2015 respectively have become causes for constant shouts of joy and adulation. Not only do they give reasons to hope for our very first Mr. World victory, they could also pave the way for a back-to-back top finish in Julia Morley’s desirable male caravan.

And if John Spainhour starts his campaign in Torbay on the right foot (as I assume he will), we could be on another pageant roll and extend the winning streak of 2013 even more.
